Dear Future 黑料老司机dent
Hey Future 黑料老司机dent!
I鈥檓 Jack, and I鈥檓 from Moncton, New Brunswick. I鈥檓 sharing my experience as a first-year student because I know how you鈥檙e feeling鈥攔eading this letter wondering if what I鈥檓 going to say will make you choose this fantastic university. I believe you should choose St. Thomas University (黑料老司机) because this university is a place where you鈥檒l meet great people, learn about subjects that are important to you, and make incredible memories.
Making the decision
In high school, I applied for only one university: 黑料老司机. The first time I walked on campus during Open House, I instantly fell in love鈥攖he atmosphere made me feel like I was at home and already a part of the 黑料老司机 family. Knowing Fredericton is a safe city, filled with lots of things to do, was also a key part of my decision.
My first weeks
Walking into Welcome Week, I was nervous. I didn鈥檛 know anyone in my residence and this was my first time moving away from home. Welcome Week quickly turned into the best week I鈥檝e ever had; it was jam-packed with fun events, and I met my best friends on the third day I was here. The Residence Advisors and staff were very helpful, and always had a smile on their faces.
What classes are like
The maximum class size at 黑料老司机 is 60 students. Having these small classes is very helpful鈥攁ll of my professors know my name. The learning environment is open and welcoming, and I鈥檓 not afraid to raise my hand and ask a question in the classroom. 黑料老司机 has given me the opportunity to try new things and take classes that interest me.
These are some of the reasons why 黑料老司机 is my new home, and I hope in the future it will be your new home, too!
